It's official! I'm now a proud member of the Michigan Drone Association!

Michigan Drone Association Logo

What does this mean, exactly, and why should you care?

The Michigan Drone Association (MDA) was formerly the Michigan Public Safety Drone Association (MiPSDA) in an effort to extend their reach to drone pilots serving all capacities.

The MDA also offers advanced training opportunities, networking, and growth in skill and standardization for UAS Pilots around the state of Michigan. The MDA supports UAS pilots in many trades including education, public safety, defense, agriculture, and more!

So what does this mean for potential clients like yourself?

It means that, as a member of the MDA, I hold myself to a higher standard than your typical Part 107 Pilot. It also means that I have access to additional training opportunities and continuing education to stay abreast of changes from the FAA and the State Legislature in regards to UAS operations. For you, this means that when you contract with me, you're getting someone dedicated to safety, standards, and learning as much as he can to improve the quality of his work. The standards are set by the MDA are standardized across the membership so no matter who or where you contract a UAS Pilot you know you're getting the best with an MDA member!

Go for takeoff!
